What we do
We keep a list of Ujjain hotels we could confirm exist (25 as of 13 Oct 2026), measure the walking route from each one to the Shri Mahakaleshwar temple complex and to Ujjain Junction, and check four practical facilities — lift, parking, veg food and a 24-hour desk or early check-in — against the hotel's own website or a booking-site listing.
What we never publish
- Room prices or “starting from” rates — they change daily. Live prices are on the booking sites we link.
- Star ratings, review scores or testimonials we cannot verify.
- Fake urgency (“only 2 rooms left”), invented discounts or awards.
- Bhasma Aarti ticket rules or timings — for those, see bhasmaartibooking.com.
How we verify
- Existence: the hotel must appear on its own website or at least one booking site. In October 2026 we removed five hotels from our old list because we could not find them anywhere.
- Location: each hotel's map position comes from OpenStreetMap, the hotel's website, or its booking-site map pin; the source type is printed on the hotel page. Doubtful positions are withdrawn, not guessed.
- Walking time: computed, not estimated — see how we measure walking time.
- Facilities: marked ✓ only with a linked source; otherwise “not confirmed”.
- Booking-site policies: taken from each platform's own help, policy or loyalty pages, with links and a check date.
How we make money
When you book through a booking-site link on this site we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Commission never decides the order of hotels — the ranking is the measured walk plus your answers. Details: affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
Hotel owners and travellers can send a correction with a source (a page on the hotel's website or listing). We re-check and update the page with a new date. Contact us or message on WhatsApp.
